The History of Flexibil Company began over 30 years ago.
1974 - Borota family creates, through cooperation, a work shop for the execution of products from
pressed rubber. The work shop was situated in Baia Mare and it had a production surface of only
30 square meters.
1990 - Once with the abolition of the
communist regime, on the structure of this
work shop the Borota Company is created,
having good development perspectives.
1992 - Flexibil takes over the activity and the
goods of Borota company, assimilating the
execution of the rubber bonded to metal
products too.
- The company creates itself a mold
design and metal parts production department.
1998 - Flexibil changes its headquarters in Sasar (a village near Baia Mare) and acquires a
production hall of 500 sqm; the staff of the company is 30 persons
2000 - Flexibil company divides itself in two companies, having the same share holders, at both
1companies:
1. Flexibil specialized in:
- designing and execution of molds and metal parts for rubber industry;
- execution of rubber compounds;
- production of rubber and rubber bonded on metal products.
2. Micromet, specialized in cutting metal plates, has the headquarters in Baia Sprie.
2001 - Flexibil implements and certifies the Quality Management System in accordance with SR EN
ISO 9002 - 1995 (ISO 9000 - 1994).
2007 – Together, Flexibil and Micromet, have a production surface of 3.500 mp, a number of more
than
85 employees, 16 of them having university studies in different areas of activity.
Flexibil and Micromet are run by three of the
Borota brothers who are also the owners of
the business.
